How Am I Today?
Honestly, I'm sure I'd have a long day again today. I slept in this morning actually. I tried to wake up at 9:00AM but I had a terrible headache and I didn't want to get up yet. After an hour, I finally give in to the call of hunger. But while waiting for breakfast, I of course went to the computer and checked for opps. Luckily, I have a reservation from SS. I enjoyed that post. It doesn't take so much of my mental energy unlike yesterday's tasks. Anyway, I'd better get moving or else we'll be late for our appointments in Fort Smith. I wish everyone will have a fun weekend. Enjoy!!!

Pinoy Version of My Girl
Television show adaptations seem to be a hot trend in the Philippine television industry lately. The unprecedented success of the Pinoy version of a Mexican telenovela Marimar, propels the big time tv stations to create more remakes. GMA will soon air its version of a successful Korean show, My Name is Kim Sam Soon. ABS-CBN on the other hand, produces a Philippine version of the famous Colombian soap opera, Betty La Fea. I'm quite certain there would be so much more adaptations in the future.
I'd never thought that I'll enjoy watching the newest tv offering from ABS-CBN right now. I am talking about another Pinoy adaptation of the defunct Korean soap opera, My Girl. This stars the bubbly and vibrant, young actress of Chinese descent, Kim Chiu and the Fil-Am young actor, Gerald Anderson. I've watched the first week of My Girl and I must admit that I got hooked. This is a feel good, comedy with a touch of a lovestory. Kim's character as Jasmine is cute and fun. She speaks a little bit of Chinese and Bisaya in this soap. Kim is so lovable and I enjoyed watching her in this show.

In Plain Sight: Meet the Cast
I am excited with the USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight, which premiers on Sunday, June 1st. I check their website and read more about the characters’ bio. Most of the characters seem to have a unique and challenging personality, which I think will make the show more exciting to watch. Mary McCormack’s character as Mary Shannon is full of challenges and she embodies the high-spirited women in this generation.
Though I’m not a U.S. Marshal like her, but of all the characters here, I can relate more to Mary's character. Her job entails a lot of responsibilities and she takes on different personas just so she can relate to the witnesses in some ways. I am like that sometimes depending on the kind of people I associate with. I can be a friend, sister, adviser, listener to my family and friends while I can be a wife, girlfriend and best friend to my husband.
Mary’s tough, sexy and smart traits will make her enjoyable to watch. But like any other show, there are quirky characters in every story. I find Brandi Shannon’s character challenging but quirky as well. She is Mary’s younger sister and it’s played by Nicole Hiltz. Brandi is a typical spoiled brat, selfish, no-care for the future type of girl. I remember a very well-off neighbor of mine back in the Philippines who seemed to take her family and wealth for granted. She doesn’t want to go to college because she thinks her parents’ affluence is more than enough for her needs. But fate played a trick on her when both her parents died in a plane crash and she ends up alone and miserable and no plan for her future.
Going back to the tv series, In Plain Sight, let’s all watch it on June 1st and together we will learn all the characters in the show.

The Start of a Busy Weekend
Thank God It's Friday!!! It's the start of a fun and busy weekend for me and Jeff. We only have one week left to prepare for our trip to my sister in Illinois. It seems like we still have a lot to accomplish before we'll be ready for next week. We need to take care of stuff like going to the mall to get important things before the trip. I still have to shop a gift for my nephew since it's his birthday. I don't have anything to wear yet in case the weather there will be perfect for swimming. Oh, there's so much to be done.
But anyway, my morning had been busy so far. I worked on 2 opportunities from Social Sparks. I'm almost done and I'm happy that I can have time for Jeff and myself after this. I'm not usually busy with blogging on weekends but no complaints there though. It's not gonna be like this always. I don't think I can bloghop today but I'll try to do it on Sunday. See ya'll!!!

In Plain Sight
This summer, an all-new crime drama series will make our television viewing more exciting. USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight, which stars Mary McCormack as Mary Shannon premiers on June 1st and promises to be a good show. I think I'm lucky today
I was about ready to leave the computer and call it a day when I had two opportunities still available for me at the triple P. After so many weeks of not being lucky with them, as far as catching opportunities are concerned, I think I got lucky today 'coz I was able to get 2. Then when I shift to SS, there is another one waiting to be taken so I grabbed it, but to my dismay, they required 400 words for that job. I think I'll just have to pass for that. Better luck next time.

This is a collage of my Papa Lorenzo. He doesn't like to smile much as you can see in almost all of his pictures here but he's a good father to us. He may not be perfect but he tries to set a good example to us. Yeah, he's strict but as we come of age, we realized that if he hadn't been strict, we wouldn't have known how to live life. He used to be a jeepney driver and it helped me and my younger sister finished college. I am so thankful to him for raising us with good values and for keeping the family in tact. Happy Father's Day to you, Pa!
Daddy Jim is Jeff's dad, my dad-in-law. When I got here, he's one of the few people that I trust. He's 69 years old and he lives 2 hours away from us yet he takes time to drive down here whenever we need him here. He makes me feel like I'm really a part of their family now. I am so happy and thankful to have known him. In one of our past conversations, he mentioned that one reason why he chose to stay in Arkansas is because both of his sons live here and he wants to be close to where his sons are so that he can be there for them in times that they need them. Happy Father's Day to you, Dad!

Pulang Buwan or Sunset?!?
Do you watch 'LOBO'? For those who don't, it's a currently-running soap opera in TFC which tackles about the life and struggles of werewolves, starred by Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual. For a regular Lobo viewer, you must have known about the phenomenon that werewolves in the show were so afraid of, the "Pulang Buwan" and the importance of "Bato ng Remus" to be in the hands of the "Huling Bantay" to ensure the safety of the werewolves when this phenomenon occurs.
Before you'll think I'm cracked, of course, I don't believe that werewolves exist. But we have to admit that mankind has had a fascination with werewolves for centuries. Though it's the first time to have a tv soap opera in this format, popular Hollywood movies, famous books and internet websites discuss about werewolf legends. Anyway, I'm not here to talk about legends of werewolves and stuff. I just want to share with you a strange picture that I took one afternoon while we were sitting in the living room. At first, both me and hubby thought it's the moon 'coz usually it would be impossible to stare at the sun, more so take pictures, so what I had in mind when I grab my camera and take pictures is that this must be the pulang buwan that Lobo is talking about. C'mon, get a grip! Eventually, we realized that this could probably just be the setting sun. After all, it was close to sunset when I saw it on that day. What do you think, is it the moon or the sun?!?

Weather Extremes
Days ago, I was complaining about the muggy weather. The walk to the church and the moments spent grilling outside the house last Sunday was so uncomfortable because of the scorching heat. Much to my surprise, I went to bed last night with the lightning, thunderstorm and occasional showers in the background. It's good that there hasn't been any tornado watch that's being issued in our area but it still didn't stop me from worrying about the weather especially when I woke up this morning. Everything looks so gloomy, muddy and wet outside. The showers and thunderstorms hasn't stopped and the news says it'll be like this throughout this evening. Hmmp!!! What a crazy weather we have here lately!

Traditional Adobo Recipe
This is one of my husband's favorite Pinoy recipe. I got this from a Filipino-American cookbook that I bought in the Philippines and I thought I might share this with you all. I made this countless times since I arrived here in the US and I must say it tastes perfectly yummy. Check out the recipe below.
Ingredients:
1-1/2 lb. pork shoulder or country-style ribs cut into 1-1/2" cubes
1/3 cup vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small bay leaf
¼ tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
½ cup water
2 tbsp. cooking oil
Combine all ingredients except cooking oil, in a pot and let stand for at least 30 minutes.
Simmer covered for 1 hour or until meat is tender. Drain and reserve sauce.
Heat cooking oil in skillet. Brown meat on all sides. Transfer to a serving dish.
Pour off all remaining oil from skillet. Add reserved sauce and cook for a minute or two scraping all browned bits sticking to pan. Pour sauce over meat and serve.
Variation: May be done with chicken or a combination of chicken and pork. Serves 4-6.

Memorial Day
Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day to remember and honor those who have died in the nations's Civil War. It was first widely observed on May 30, 1868, to commemorate the sacrifices of Civil War soldiers, by proclamation of General John A. Logan in his General Order No. 11 declaring that:

In 1882, the name was changed to Memorial Day, and soldiers who had died in other wars were also honored. In 1971, Memorial Day was declared a national holiday to be held on the last Monday in May. Today, Memorial Day marks the unofficial beginning of the summer season in the United States. Memorial Day Weekend is a three-day holiday that is typified by the first family picnics and barbecues of the year.

Beauty Secrets Tag
I don't consider myself vain, however, like most women, I'd like to feel comfortable with the products and things that I'm using. I noticed that I got more acne-prone here than when I was in the Philippines. I have no idea why since the weather here is supposed to make my skin dry and thus lessen breakouts. Anyway, I'd like to share some of the things that I use for my beauty regimen.
My Foundation: Before, I only use foundation when there's special occasions like parties but when I got here I tried putting on foundation when I go out. I was using L'oreal True Blend Liquid Foundation but to my dismay, I started to get a lot of breakouts so I stopped using it and don't use foundation at all.
My Blush: I use Estee Lauder Blush All Day (Pink Sand). It was given by an American friend from Illinois.
My Day Cream: I use Neutrogena Non-Comedogenic Oil-Free Fresh Moisture Ultra-Light Moisturizer.
My Lipstick: To prevent my lips from chapping, I use Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner with SPF15. When I go out, I put on L'oreal Extreme Spice Lipstick.
My Essential Beauty Product: I'm entering my 2nd month of using Pro-Active Acne Treatment. It kinda helps drying out my acne and I hope it will prevent new ones from forming.
My favorite Make-up product: Nothing in particular. I use different brands for my make-up and I think L'oreal, Revlon, Avon works better for me so far.
My Perfume: I have a collection of Bath and Body Works body spray. I use it for my everyday needs.
My Nails: Colorless...But when I feel like putting some color to it, I'd like to use lighter color to complement my dark skin.
My Feet: I just wash it everyday and put on some Nivea or Bath and Body Works Lotion.
My hands: I use Nivea or sometimes Bath and Body Works Lotion.

My Foundation: Before, I only use foundation when there's special occasions like parties but when I got here I tried putting on foundation when I go out. I was using L'oreal True Blend Liquid Foundation but to my dismay, I started to get a lot of breakouts so I stopped using it and don't use foundation at all.
My Blush: I use Estee Lauder Blush All Day (Pink Sand). It was given by an American friend from Illinois.
My Day Cream: I use Neutrogena Non-Comedogenic Oil-Free Fresh Moisture Ultra-Light Moisturizer.
My Lipstick: To prevent my lips from chapping, I use Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner with SPF15. When I go out, I put on L'oreal Extreme Spice Lipstick.
My Essential Beauty Product: I'm entering my 2nd month of using Pro-Active Acne Treatment. It kinda helps drying out my acne and I hope it will prevent new ones from forming.
My favorite Make-up product: Nothing in particular. I use different brands for my make-up and I think L'oreal, Revlon, Avon works better for me so far.
My Perfume: I have a collection of Bath and Body Works body spray. I use it for my everyday needs.
My Nails: Colorless...But when I feel like putting some color to it, I'd like to use lighter color to complement my dark skin.
My Feet: I just wash it everyday and put on some Nivea or Bath and Body Works Lotion.
My hands: I use Nivea or sometimes Bath and Body Works Lotion.

Grey's Anatomy Series
Are you one of us? By that, I mean a Grey's Anatomy viewer. This is one of the US tv shows that I really love to watch. I saw the first episode of Season 1 back in the Philippines and I got hooked. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to follow episode by episode while I was still in the PI but I'm glad we are Netflix members. Jeff and I were GA viewers and we enjoyed the show so much. I like the medical drama behind this show. I definitely love the casts. It is a sad thing that Season 4 ended last night on a 2-hour season finale but there is still something to look forward to as Grey's Anatomy will definitely have a Season 5 this Fall.

David Cook voted American Idol 2008
After 97.5 million votes were counted, David Cook emerged the winner by a margin of 12 million on Wednesday's finale of "American Idol." In a sense, Cook's victory came as a significant surprise. He walked into last night's show with a major disadvantage since rough judge Simon Cowell had practically anointed Archuleta the winner at Tuesday night's final performances, saying his singing scored a "knockout" against Cook. But the people's choice proved otherwise. The grown-up rocker triumphed over the sensitive balladeer in this season of American Idol. David Cook was so overwhelm with emotions that his eyes were filled with tears and said he's absolutely at a loss for words last night. David Cook sang U2's "I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For" [watch here], Emily Shackelton's "Dream Big" [watch here] and Collective Soul's “The World I Know" [watch here] in last Tuesday's performance.

My Monster Mom
Regal Entertainment and GMA Films worked together to bring us the exciting and riot tandem of mother and daughter. I'm talking about the upcoming comedy film, My Monster Mom, which stars 1993 Ms. World 2nd Princess, Ruffa Gutierrez and her "monster mom", the feisty but beautiful Annabelle Rama. I think this is a fun movie to watch. The trailer looks like it is horror film but in the end you can feel that it's gonna be a riot comedy. I love the movie trailer. This is the first time that the famous mother and daughter Gutierrez worked together in a movie project and this will definitely be a hit in the theatres soon. The movie is directed by no less than Jose Javier Reyes.

My Permanent Resident Card arrives today!!!
Have I just been lucky or is USCIS California just faster than any other service centers? Four days after I got an email with regards to my AOS approval, I received two letters in our mailbox from USCIS California. One of it is a Welcome to the US letter and the other one which surprised me the most is my Permanent Resident Card. I was thinking of 60 days after the email notice, thus it made me so happy and excited when I got a hold of my card today. The card expires in 2 years and so we have to renew it 90 days before it expires. It's not bad, I mean at least we can rest from the immigration process for 2 years. Right now, I've got a driver's license and a permanent resident card. I feel that this is the best time for me to start my life outside the house, get a job and legally reside in the US. This is fun and I am jubilant!!!

Digital Scrapbooking
Before I started to join the blogging community, I was so interested with digital scrapbooking. I have a friend who's so good at it -- she made a lot of theme layouts, cards for friends and a lot more. I was inspired by her works so I tried researching about digital scrapbooking and I was able to find free website where I downloaded scrapbooking stuff like embellishments and paper background. It was a good thing that I know a little bit about Photoshop because we used this software back when I was working as a data processor in the Philippines. Of course, I also asked the help of my friend about some things and I learned a lot from her. Let me show you guys the works that I've done in the past couple of months. I'm not very good at it but I'm still proud because I've worked so hard for these and each has a special meaning to me.

My blood type is O+. Some of it doesn't really apply to my personality but the loyal and passionate part were right. They also got my weaknesses right which are jealousy and a tendency to be too competitive. Well, yeah, I can be vain sometimes but not much. (*giggle)

AOS: Approved without an Interview
Five months from filing our Adjustment of Status application, I got an email from USCIS today informing me that they've mailed a notice welcoming me as a new permanent resident and that I'll get my permanent resident card in the mail in 60 days. This sounds good news but my first reaction was "What?". I mean I thought it's a bit strange getting the GC without an interview. At least that's what I thought AOS applicants have to go through before they'll get a GC. Moreover, it's been only like 5 months from our application and I thought it's gonna take a year or more before I'll ever hear from USCIS. But today, USCIS informed us we're approved without an interview. SWEET!!!
I tried double-checking it with VisaJourney and The World of Filipinas websites (my primary sources of immigration information). It turned out that this is really good news -- that I am now a permanent resident without having to go through an interview like a bunch of applicants who's cases were moved to California Service Center as well. I don't know why it all happens like that but my doubts were all gone now that I've read forum answers that they too have the same case scenario as mine. Well, there's no reason to complain, is there? The interview might not be as nerve-wracking as the Fiancee Visa application last year but still skipping an AOS interview is such an amazing thing. Jeff and I will gonna have to celebrate through dinner in a restaurant tonight. Now, I'll just have to sit back and wait for my greencard in 60 days.

How To Look 10 Pounds Thinner in Photos
I don't know about some but most women (me included) love to have their pictures taken. Proof to that are the thousands of pictures we shared in our Multiply and Friendster accounts. I mean, there's totally nothing wrong with it. We feel good about posing in front of the camera and sharing these to our family and friends in an online album. But wouldn't it be more exciting if we know some tips on how to pose and look thinner in our photos without having to resort to Photoshop?
I was browsing through the internet for some stuff that I could write for my blog when I came across with this article from About.com. I thought this is pretty interesting since taking pictures is part of our usual activities. I haven't tried these tips personally yet but who knows this might really make us look and feel good in our photos. Allow me to share it to you, guys.
Secret No. 1: Turn partially sideways to the camera, planting one foot in front of the other. Point your toe to the camera and place your weight on your back foot.
Secret No. 2: Pull head forward slightly to minimize any appearance of a double chin.
Secret No. 3: Hold arms slightly away from your body. This keeps upper arm flab from flattening out and therefore appearing flabbier (much like thighs do when one sits on a couch).
Secret No. 4: Pull shoulders back, chest forward and gently suck stomach in. Be careful not to suck stomach so far in that your ribs show, thereby causing those who later see the photo to cluck to themselves in a bemused, sing-song voice, "She's sucking i-in."
Secret No. 5: If you can get away with it without looking like a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Girl wannabe, try the look away trick. To do this, look away from the camera, then turn towards it, breaking into a smile just before the camera clicks. Your smile will appear fresh, not frozen. This trick takes practice behind closed, locked doors.
When taking a photo it's also important the photographer does not snap the picture from below. This adds another 20-50 pounds to the 10 pounds automatically and annoying added by the camera.
More tips on looking 10 pounds thinner in photos:
Use objects you are holding to your advantage by placing them in front of parts of you you'd prefer to hide. A purse or corsage in front of your belly. A jacket slung over the shoulder. (Gwyneth Paltrow used a perfectly placed purse to hide her baby bump before she announced her pregnancy with Apple).
It's not just black that makes you look thinner. Wearing an entire outfit of just one color will do the trick as well, whether it be white, beige, brown, blue or red. One color tends to elongate your figure. Avoid entire outfits in pink, however, unless you are four years old or younger.
There you go! Just try to practice these tips in front of the mirror and lock your door first so your little ones or your hubbies wouldn't think you're too vain. I expect to see future photos following these tips then. (*smile)

Polynesian Pork Chops
Back in the Philippines, I don't cook at all. My excuse is I was working and I didn't have time to do it. But truth of the matter is, I didn't have interest in cooking at all. (blush*) Everything had to change when I got here in the US. We would either starve to death or grow obese from eating a lot in restaurants if I don't start learning how to cook. Now, I may not be a very good cook but I already find joy in preparing dinner for hubby and I'm learning to experiment new stuff from online recipes, from sister or from just any other sources like at the back of a can of soup for example. I felt so good last night because the recipe that I got from the back of a Campbell's Mushroom Soup turned out to be so yummy. The best part is Jeff loved it so much. Below is the recipe of Polynesian Pork Chops. If you want to try it, feel free to copy it. I'm gonna assure you, it's so deliciously good.
Ingredients:
4 boneless pork chops, 3/4" thick
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's Golden Mushroom Soup
1/4 cup water
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple chunks
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. honey
2 cups cooked white rice
Sliced green onions
Directions:
Season chops with garlic powder.
Heat oil in skillet. Add chops and cook until browned. Add onion.
Add soup, water, pineapple with juice, soy and honey. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 10 min. or until done.
Serve with rice and sprinkle with green onions.

David vs. David: American Idol Finale
As what the candid judge Simon Cowell had predicted back in April, American Idol Season 7 Finale will be a battle between two Davids. David Archuleta, 17-year old piano balladeer faces David Cook, 25-year old guitar-playing rocker in the much-awaited finale. Both of them have been the favorites throughout the season though I must admit I didn't expect the younger David to make it this far. Preparing for the final week of the competition might be a little harder for David Archuleta as he will just be on his own now that his father, Jeff Archuleta has been reportedly banned from the show's rehearsals and backstage area for being a career-minded stage dad. David's father is said to have insisted on changing some of the lyrics to Ben E. King's "Stand by Me," in order to slip in a verse from Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls," in last Tuesday's performance, a move that cost the production additional song-clearance costs. Whoa! Hope this won't have a negative impact on David's final performance next Tuesday. Goodluck to both of these guys!

Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining at all. After so many weeks of not being lucky with grabbing opportunities, these past two days proved to be overwhelming for me. I got so busy writing sponsored posts that I failed to make a personal post in between the sponsored ones. Charice Pempengco on Oprah
She makes us proud once again by gracing the highest-rated talk show in the US, The Oprah Winfrey Show. This was aired days ago but unfortunately I didn't get the chance to watch it on tv. But I found a clip from you tube and oh my I am again impressed by the wonderful singing talent of this young little girl. I was also amused reading all the video comments especially about those people who've never heard about Filipinos nor Philippines before but now they talk about how brilliant this girl from the Philippines is. We're definitely proud of Charice. Her singing performance is always strong and confident and she's always given a standing ovation from the audience. Charice will definitely go places!!!

Earthquake devastates China
I recall a very scary experience back in highschool. We were in our P.E class on the fourth floor when suddenly we felt a tremor that's got nothing to do with boisterous activities by classmates. We knew it was an earthquake and my instincts told me to go down and find shelter despite the clamor of our teacher on not to panic. I reached the ground floor unscathed because it wasn't strong enough to create damage. When everything seems to cool down, I was embarrassed when I went back to the class because I was the only one who fled out of the room. Safety tips tells us not to run during the quake but what can I do, I was just one teenager soul who got scared and confused on what to do.
The recent news about the earthquake that hits China is so sad and devastating especially to those people whose loved ones were trapped inside the buildings which had collapsed. The death toll continues to arise and there are still hundreds of people who are still trapped and probably fighting for dear life. For the complete report and update, read this article. I feel for the parents and family of the victims. Let us hope and pray that there would still be more alive people that can be found. In this moment of unexpected tragedy, may we offer our prayers to the people who have been affected by the recent terrible event.

It's been a while since I last rode in a bicycle but still, we bought a new one for me. Spring seems to be a perfect time to go out and rode around in a bike. We bought this last Sunday and my being a pink lover was carried up to my bike choice. I just think it looks trendy and cool, don't it? I had fun yesterday when I had my first ride in the park. I was a bit worried that I might have forgotten how to do it since it's been 15 years. But it turned out that I was ok, it's just that I had to ride on it often so as to get me comfortable with the seat.

- EXCITED - What, with a new treadmill and new bike, a trip to Oklahoma on Memorial Day and Illinois in June, who wouldn't be?
- DISAPPOINTED - It's been a while since I was able to catch opps. Seems like opps to me are elusive lately.
- SLEEPY - Time check here is 7:52 AM. I should have gone back to bed after Jeff leaves for work but I need to update my blog and visit some friends.
- BUMMER - For months, I've been jobless. It was fun for a while but lately I feel miserable doing nothing. I want to work you know! I miss going to work.
- HUNGRY - As of this writing, I'm making my breakfast. I can smell the sausage patty in the kitchen. I'd better get this done so I can eat na.

A Tribute To Mom on Mother's Day
This is one of my favorite pictures of my mama back in the Philippines. I took this shot during our trip to Manila for my medicals at St. Luke's last year. She simply radiates and glows in this picture. Now that it's Mother's Day and she's not here with me in the US, I can only think about her and the good times that we had while I was still living with them in the PI. She's like an elder sister to me. She had me when she was at a tender age of 16 so we were kinda like just barkada. She cried the most when I left for the US. I tried not to show to her that I was hurting inside on that day just so she would take it easy. My mom is so cool that there would never be a dull moment when you're with her. I had only the fondest memories for my mom. She's a thousand miles away from me and I missed her dearly especially on this day for mothers. But I'll definitely call her and me and my sister had a special surprise for her. Happy Mother's Day, Ma!!!

My Harry Potter Collection
I am a self-professed Harry Potter avid reader. It all began when my American brother-in-law sent my grade school sister at that time a copy of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets as a Christmas gift. Being the bookworm in the family, I ended up reading it first before my sister even got the interest to open the page. At first I thought it was just one of those children books genre but one chapter made me read more until I find myself engrossed with it. I find the story line amusing and different.
True, the characters are kids and it talks about magic and all that but it got me hooked to the point that I did look for Book 1 and wondered if Book 3 and more are already out in the market. I was really entertained and that started my interest in collecting all the books in the series. Obviously, I have read all of it. As a matter of fact, I've reread it countless times. When I moved here in the US, I brought all these books with me. Absurd it may seem, but right now these books are part in me and Jeff's bedtime routine. Yep, I was able to convince him to read them. We've read it together before going to bed and right at the moment, we are on the last three chapters of The Order of the Phoenix. To all the HP readers out there, rock on!!!
