Since I've started work, I have less free time to use the computer. The only free time I have is usually after work which is also Jeff's time to use the computer so we learn to take turns with the computer usage. But as you all know, blogging is time-consuming. There were times when hubby just fell asleep on the couch waiting for his turn. So we both decided to get me a laptop so we both can do things with the computer without having to wait on each other.
I love my new laptop. It is an HP Pavilion DV6000. We bought it last weekend at Best Buy. It has a 4GB RAM and it has a sleek design and shiny finish. It's so fast, definitely faster than our desktop and the best thing is that I can carry it with me anywhere in the house. Right now I usually camp on the couch in front of our tv so I can blog while watching my favorite Filipino shows. I enjoyed it so much. Yesterday, when I got tired from long hours of sitting, I even brought it to bed and watched My Bestfriend's Girlfriend over the internet. Convenient, eh! My internet experience has never been this fun.

Awesome laptop, now you can blog anywhere with a mobile internet. if you're a blogger, you need 24/7 utilization of the web. I could never have blogged if we didn't have a internet connection at home. Now my next target is a laptop . Perhaps from my blogging earnings.

OH to have my own laptop. I don't have to fight for access to the computer at home, but having a desktop ties me to the chair at my desk. Like you say blogging (and trying to make money online) is very time consuming. My husband feels like he has been widowed by the computer. It would be nice to have a laptop so I can be with him in the living room or sit to my little girl on the couch and we can comfortably look at things together. Not to mention it would be very convenient to be able to take the laptop with you wherever you went. Then I would have one really good pc instead of two old crappy ones that take turns deciding which will work :( .
