My Stinky Little Friends

It's been a while since I last ate dried fish. Not that it's one of my favorite foods back home, but when you live in the U.S., every once in a while you miss eating foods that you rarely find in the grocery stores. We live 45 minutes away from an Asian food market, but they don't sell "danggit" and "galunggong" anyway so I really crave for dried fish sometimes. Thanks to my dear sister in Illinois, while she was in a Filipino store last week, she bought me a few packs of dried fish and pusit. It arrived in our mailbox yesterday and I didn't wait long before I cook it.

I don't know about your hubbies but my Jeff isn't wild about the smell of my "stinky little friends." That's how he calls them, hehehe. We agreed that I can cook them outside through the side burner of our grill but he was taking a nap this afternoon and I didn't want to wake him up just to prepare the grill outside so I took the liberty to cook it inside. As you can imagine, it was a HUGE mistake! The smell wake him up. Ooops! Soweee!!! He opened all 6 windows in the house and we didn't eat dinner together 'coz he chose to stay in the next room 'coz of the smell. Huhuhu! He said he still love me of course, he just hates the smell of my stinky little friends. I dare him to kiss me on the lips while I was eating just to prove that he still does love me, thank God, he did kiss me but with nose shut, hahahaha!

Hi Jenn...

Thanks much sa dalaw. Medyo busy ako so I have not been blogging [and hopping] much. Work has picked up so I'm usually working instead of blogging.

Musta na?
