Lately, I've been thinking of creating a new blog. I can't seem to decide just yet what type of blog would it be. Fashion, entertainment, food, photography and travel seem appealing. I was inspired by my friend Hazel's new travel blog and I'm kinda' leaning towards that category. Since traveling is something that hubby and I love to do, I've thought of dedicating a blog for our inter-states travels and hopefully new places outside the U.S. that we might be able to explore in the future. My Sweet Haven is presently hosted by Blogger, so I thought of trying a different platform for my new blog. It's not that I have any complaints with my current platform, but I just wanted to give Wordpress a try. I already have a blog title in mind, as well as the URL address, but I'll disclose them when I'm ready to launch the said blog. I may need the creative expertise of my designer friend Ivy again for the customized layout, hopefully she would have extra time to spare for this project. I'm pretty excited for this, and I'm hoping to have as many followers and commenters as with my old blog.

Wordpress is great! After Lainy's Musings was hacked last year which was formerly hosted by Blogger, I never encountered anymore problems when I chose Wordpress as its current platform. You can actually do a lot of things with it. It can guarantee your blog's security and protection.
We simply can't wait for this new blog of yours!
Having another blog would be a great idea. I have 5, all different categories.

I will follow your blog Jenn. Naga himo na ba c Ivy ug para sa wordpress..kay last year nag ask ko sa iya kay di pa cia ga layout sa wordpress..but nagtuon to cia ato for wordpress.
Go for it Jenn...since you have lots of stories to tell about your trips here and there....just make the pictures a little bit bigger in size...hehehee....Go for Wordpress...they say it's the best though mine is Typepad.
go for a travel blog jenn! it's going to be a hit. if you're desiring to apply at izea, having another blog is also a great idea since izea and payu2 don't work together. go, go, go!

Go, go, go for it, Jenn! A travel blog would be awesome, since you can share your stories with all your friends and families. It'd be a fabulous read, for sure. Also, shopping would probably be a good one for you too. LOL.
I can vouch for Wordpress, since I use it for my photography site / blog. It's a great platform, and customization works great with it. I love the individual pages you can create, which Blogger seems to be rough around the edges a bit. Once you get your host and have WP up and running, everything's a breeze. :)

halu girls, thanks a lot for all the comments. one thing i like about Wordpress is they have a real Reply Button i believe, unlike Blogger. :)

Yes Jenn, you need a travel blog because you and Jeff loves to travel. You can inspire a lot of people for your travel blogs and who knows, we will go to the places you have been right? Go for it Jenn! Aw, naa naman diay hehehehe
