The Days are Getting Shorter

I’ve noticed that we have shorter days and longer nights in winter. It’s pretty much dark outside when I get off from work at 5:00 P.M. To be honest, I’m a little scared of how dark it could get as days go by. My apprehension stems from the fact that I’ll be driving home after work. I’ll have to admit that I don’t think of myself as a very good driver. Yes, I’ve got the license to drive but that doesn’t hide the fact that I am so inexperienced on the road. I don’t like to drive when it’s dark because of limited visibility of the things that’s happening ahead of me, let alone join the throng of vehicles seemingly in a rush to get home first. My only consolation is that we just live 2 miles away from work so it’s not actually that bad. I just missed being in the Philippines where I didn’t have to drive especially after a long day at work or on an inclement weather.

Ay naku Jenn...pareho tayong na mi miss ang Pilipinas just because of the availability of transportation by our fingertips. Labas ka lang sa bahay may tricycle or jeepney na. Dito ang lalayo ng bus stops....

Musta ka na?
