I tried double-checking it with VisaJourney and The World of Filipinas websites (my primary sources of immigration information). It turned out that this is really good news -- that I am now a permanent resident without having to go through an interview like a bunch of applicants who's cases were moved to California Service Center as well. I don't know why it all happens like that but my doubts were all gone now that I've read forum answers that they too have the same case scenario as mine. Well, there's no reason to complain, is there? The interview might not be as nerve-wracking as the Fiancee Visa application last year but still skipping an AOS interview is such an amazing thing. Jeff and I will gonna have to celebrate through dinner in a restaurant tonight. Now, I'll just have to sit back and wait for my greencard in 60 days.

congratulations! its really a good feeling when ur approved without an interview. imagine all the paper work u need to acquire before the interview. I did have the same scenario as u. I didnt get an interview, they just approved my application. We are just lucky right? lol...have a gud day.
Congrats!!! I was here to say thank you and then wow! Congrats for your approval. Yep most do not have an interview but I think the reason why we had it because the office here is only 3miles away from home. Plus processing here in DC is quite slow due to numerous applicants.

Congrats! U might have to look into the conditions of ur greencard. Usually the "Conditional" Greencard which is good for 2 years only does not require an interview because you have to go back after two years to apply for a permanent one. If ur greencard is a permanent one which is good for 10 years, then that would require an interview. But either way, it is good news.
