The house feels lonely when Caleb and I woke up this morning. Hubby dropped off his Dad to the airport at 5:00 AM, then he went straight to work. So it was only me and Caleb again in the house this morning. I felt sad because for a week my in-law was here with us and suddenly it's just the 2 of us here again. It was comforting to have him here, listen to him talk about all kinds of stuff. Caleb surveyed the guest room to check if his Grandpa is still here, then when he realized he's not, he shut the door and lay down in Grandpa's bed and covered himself with the comforter, lol! It's too cute I can't help but hug him and give him a kiss. I can tell he knows something is amiss today. Although he didn't fuss about it but I can tell he's missing the old man in the house. Oh well, I'm sure we will be seeing him again. He plans to take a few more visits before this year ends. Or we could probably fly over to Arkansas ourselves this year or the next. We'll see!
