I'm in Pain...

Practically my day at work was spent in suffering while I was attending computer issues. I would normally call my condition as "kabuhi" but it was not medically proven that it is. This could be stomach ulcer, gallbladder stones, gastritis or any of those horror sounding medical conditions, however, a doctor had not told me exactly what it is. I tried to see a doctor here in town a few months before I had my job. I told her about the symptoms and like most doctors, they would need time to observe before they will give an exact diagnosis. So for starters, she had me take a month's worth of acid blocker, it's a little stronger than over-the-counter antacids. It seemed to work for a few months but I've noticed it comes back every once in a while especially after I ate fatty and oily foods. I've been wanting to go back to the doctor so we could proceed to the next level of treatment but my job is what's keeping me from making an appointment. I plan on resigning before I'll leave for my wedding in the Philippines, so by then maybe I'd have the time to take my condition seriously. I don't know if anyone of you here experience this as well, but the pain I've been feeling is right below my diaphragm or upper abdomen. It can almost be described as being punched right on the stomach. One time in the past, the pain made me puke in the church's restroom while we were attending a Sunday service. Gosh, I didn't mean to divulge the gory details but anyway, just to give you an idea of how painful it could get sometimes. As of this writing, thank God I feel a little better. After I had dinner, the pain subsided. I didn't take any pill but Efficascent Oil has always been my first aid.

While reading this post I thought you had an acid reflux but when you mentioned about the pain, I think that's something serious and not just an acid reflux or heartburn. Try to surf the net about your symptoms, who knows you'll find the answer thru the net. Good luck and get well soon. :)

i don't know if that is similar to mine but the doctor told me as hyperacidity not ulcer naman. we have similar symptoms, pain at my diaphram but i get relieved once i threw up everything i ate. then i take 2 zantac. you know how it stopped or should i say avoided it. as much as possible i don't stress myself at hwag magpagutom. always keep some crackers in your purse. no caffeine (soda, coffee, etc and alchohol)
haba na'to. hope you feel better. visit your doctor again to be on the safe side.

Ate Jhen, why not go for a full body check-up to make sure things are okay. Just like what we had the other year. And they examined our cholesterol, blood, urine and everything. I am sorry about your condition. Ayaw nalang pod kaon ug fatty and oily foods since it is not making you feel better and not good for our body anyway. I had some pain in my tummy too and usahay malipong and kasukaon ko. But that doesn't happen for often. Hay ka nice oi you guys are going to have a wedding sa Pinas. Pasalubong ha! hehehe.. Just kidding!

so sorry you are feeling ill. My son has stomach ulcer and is now having a flare up and this sounds just like what he tells me. I have him take bentonite and i get it at vitacost. http://www.vitacost.com/Yerba-Prima-Great-Plains-Bentonite-Detox
I also give it to my cat that has IBS and this always cures him when he has a flare up. My son is 2 days into taking his bentonite and he says the pain is almost gone. he jsut takes one shot glass at night and drinks water after before he goes to bed. i hope u feel better soon

i also have heartburn but that really doesnt bother me much. it's the pain right on my stomach that's causing me so much discomfort.

Hello Jhenn, I was thinking it might be ulcer or gastritis. Go get a check up so you will know what is wrong.
